Although quickly, and wrongly, accused of murdering Herot’s Reeve shortly after his arrival, Beowulf once again finds a home in the town. And, after driving off the beast Grendl, he becomes the enigmatic and unconventional Reeve, whose job it is to uphold the law and protect the town from the external and internal dangers which constantly threaten its existence. What he doesn’t plan on however, is falling in love with Herot’s beautiful if secretive healer.
